I needed a replacement exhaust bolt for my Mountfield 4155 mower. The bolt threads are not easy to identify and the readily available sources are in the US. But I did find them at WOM. They were a reasonable price and the UK postage is moderate compared to transatlantic shipping.
*Note for the diy person. The correct bolts are visually very similar in appearance to an M8 hex socket bolt. They are not the same!

The part was a replacement "kit" for a rocker cover at the front of a GGP engine for a Mountfleld T38M-SD ride-on. The original engine seized when when most the oil was pumped out of the cover. It nearly happened agaiin with the replacement engine when I noticed a patch of oil on the shed floor. The new cover is cast not pressed steel and I put gasket goo both sides of the new gasket. I will watch it more!.
I got next day delivery from World of Mowers. The only criticism I have is I had great difficulty in getting the order placed and paid on its website. Great people.

We had a very long wait after we ordered our mower without any contact or updates regarding the long delay from WORLD OF MOWERS,I Feel it was very bad customer service on your part, which could be greatly improved on.

The parts I required for my Mountfield lawn mower were easy to order (from the exploded diagram) and arrived very quickly,
However I was surprised you could not help on replacing the carb's O-ring on the float bowl as this would be removed during servicig for cleaning.
I therefore had to order the O-ring from Simply Bearings as the old one disintegrated.
If you are interested for future reference the part is: 48mmID, 52mmOD & 2mmCS.

Just bought a new petrol driven Mountfield from WoM. Having made a thorough search of the Internet I can confidently say that their pricing was unmatched and was fantastic value.
On ordering I was told it would be a week before delivery which seemed reasonable as it was coming to Cheshire from the WoM site in Nottingham. In reality the mower arrived, ready to use, just 2 days later! The delivery driver took time to explain the features of the machine and to describe the do's and don'ts of use and maintenance, very helpful.
All in all I can find no fault with the service or the value for money provided by WoM. Based on my experience, I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking to buy a new mower.

I'm not a business, but I do have quite a large garden, and quite a few machines, would cost a fortune to have them serviced somewhere, so to be able to buy parts to do my own maintenance is worth a lot to me.

Like many people I own an old Mountfield mower, great machines but all machines need service parts. No different from a car, bits wear out. In my case a 2004 Mountfield 4125M, owned from new needed a new brake cable. Worldofmowers has the assembly instructions and exploded view diagrams that link to original equipment manufacturer parts list. Easy to find what you want and click-on to order. I ordered the replacement cable, it arrived fairly fast, under three weeks. It is a 100% manufacturer genuine engineered part, delighted with it. Fitted perfectly and works well. I say pricing is very fair for an OEM spare. Well done and thank you Worldofmowers. PS, I will be ordering brake pads tomorrow 😉

Super job. Mower broke down on Sunday. I found the part on your site (Stiga) using your engine maps with different parts identified. I ordered it, and it arrived Wednesday. Mower was back working that evening.
The only downside was the price £20+ for a little plastic connector that must cost 50p to manufacture. But I assume that is Stiga's pricing.

I ordered this item in order to service my MacAlister mower that had become “sluggish” and tended to grind to a halt when confronted by thick, long grass.
The package included a new foam air filter, the correct grade of oil and a replacement spark plug for the Briggs & Stratton engine.

Your website showed me a full "exploded" view of the steering system of my ride-on mower. I raised a query with you by email as to one of the part numbers and I got and email back quickly answering my question so I was able to place my order. The mower is great, cuts really well, drives really nicely and we got £40 cashback for trading in our old mower. The man that delivered it was lovely and it was supplied ready to go. He also adjusted it all for my height, explained everything and was really helpful. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because when we ordered it, it said it was in stock and should be dispatched within 24 hrs. A week later we had to phone them to be told they must have sold the last one and were awaiting stock. In total it was at least 4 weeks after we ordered it and I had to chase them twice in that time for an update. Wouldn't have minded the wait but the communication was pretty poor. Thankfully the mower was worth the wait.

Stiga mower ordered, delivered and works well. The gap between order and delivery was unfortunately about a month during which I had to email twice to ask when we might expect delivery. Wasn't in any hurry but just like good customer communication. The system could be improved if World of Mowers just gave an occasional reassuring update. I know I'm not their only customer but technology can come to their aid with a little software tweek/development of order/dispatch systems, after all the system continually asks me for feedback.

Totally happy with the service received. One of the few sites that actually provide a decent parts map to help you identify what you are actually ordering for the particular machine. Several times before I have ordered parts from other sites, that have 'suggested' what i'm ordering to be for my model of machinery, only for it to 'not be the case'. Website has mower systems on exploded views so you can identify the parts you need correctly. Delivery was very fast (next day) and I did not pay for a premium delivery service. Also the exploded views plus the associated parts lists show you which parts are now obsolete (unavailable) for older models like mine so you can get a feel for when you need to get a newer model.
The parts delivered were excellent quality getting my mower serviceable again within 24hrs of my breakdown. If I had taken my mower to the local repair centre it would have been several weeks to get it back.

We recently purchased a four wheeled trolley from your website. We were very pleased with the item which we use to transport heavy items from our car to an island on which we live. It is a fair distance and the trolley is both robust and sturdy and comes with a tough plastic cover which is handy when it rains. We had an issue with a few small parts that were missing on the initial purchase. However the Customer Service Centre was very quick to deal with our missing parts. We were very impressed with both the customer service (which was a real person and not an automated message) and the trolley. We will be purchasing a tough wheelbarrow next!

Usually parts are delivered within 2 days. However, this order took over a week. Maybe some parts were out of stock which meant it would take longer to be despatched. Would have been helpful to have had an email giving reason for delay in despatch. As always parts are good quality.

I needed a replacement throttle handle for an Echo strimmer. Whilst the model I have is quite old (10 years +), the pictures on your web site of the newer Echo models showing the current throttle assembly, looked exactly the same as mine, so I took a punt.

The site is really user friendly. I am a first time ride on owner and was able to source all of hte right parts first time. Being able to see the diagram and select parts directly from it is brilliant!
Parts were all top quality and seemed reasonably priced (I coudln't source them elsewhere as easily - see point about the diagram above - so have no comparison). Everything was shipped and delivered in a timely manner. We have become a bit 'Prime' orientated these days, but I was not in a rush, so happy with opting for normal delivery.
As I have an older model, in the event I need more parts, this will be the go to for me. Well done all at World of Mowers!

The only part of the process which was lacking, or at least unusual, is that after placing the order and receiving an order confirmation, I received no further correspondence or notifications until the delivery was despatched 2 weeks later. About a week after placing the order, I became concerned and went on the website, where I found my order details, and confirmed that it had not, at that time, been despatched. I also read that items in stock would be despatched within 24 hrs, but parts not in stock would be a minimum of 14 days, or similar wording. So I left it there and sure enough the delivery was received about 1 week later. I would have preferred on the order confirmation or subsequent notification to have been advised the item was not in stock and would therefore be a 2 week lead time.

I telephoned to get advice and could not believe how much the chap who helped me knew about my Stiga Combi 1066 without having to refer to a manual. He was spot on and knew exactly what I wanted and what had happened to cause the breakage. Great service from World of Mowers. I was struggling to find the right air filter for my mower (an MTD model previously imported to the UK by someone else). Really helpful advice by email to identify the right one and very reasonable price. Same for the replacement chipper blades on my Masport chipper - far cheaper than elsewhere and delivered quickly.

New brake cable for Stiga ride on The new brake cable arrived as promised and we were able to o fit it. Unfortunately the screwed ferrule at the pedal end snapped half way along its length. Poorly made item! We managed to bodge a fix so all was not lost. I guess it is not the suppliers fault but the manufacturer.

Good product - good website - slow delivery Looking for products on line was easy if you had the correct information. Ordering was easy. The site said the item was in stock, so should be dispatched the next day. Then it slowed down. The item took three weeks to arrive. I emailed, then phoned and was told it was out of stock and would be dispatched as soon as they received it from the suppliers. It came a few days later. Good product.

I needed a replacement throttle cable, but what one.… I needed a replacement throttle cable for my Mountfield mower, but found a large variety on the net. The only problem was what one did I need. That problem was solved when I came across World Of Mowers site their accessible parts scheduling and diagrams were second to none. Strimmer Head. The website was easy to use, I ordered a strimmer cutting head complete as diagram, what I received was not quite the same but worked. It was easy to order and delivery was quick. The only issue was the head I received had not been threaded out correctly to fit onto the main drive, luckily my mate had a left hand threaded tape to clean it out and it then fitted perfectly. Hope this is helpful.

Fine but slow The belt which I ordered from World of Mowers arrived in good condition and met my expectations. However c.£75 is a lot of money for a loop of rubber (although it's comparable with what's being charged by other suppliers) and it was disappointing that there was complete silence from World of Mowers for three weeks between order and dispatch. At the time of ordering, there was nothing to indicate that the belt wasn't in stock and ready for immediate delivery. When so many online stores show you stock levels in real time, it seems old-fashioned for there to be so little information and communication. Luckily the heatwave meant my grass has hardly been growing, so the delay wasn't the disaster it could've been!
