STIGA autonomous robot mowers are designed with true autonomy. The robot actively maps the garden to decide where and when to cut using predictive, patented AGS (Active Guidance System) technology, and when combined with RTK-GPS (multiple satellite connection) technology this ensures up to a 2cm accuracy and a strong, stable signal. All cutting zones on the lawn, no matter how big (up to 5000 sqm) are mown regularly and accurately, leaving no zone uncut, whilst also ensuring there is no over-mowing (cutting the same area several times) resulting in a beautiful even-cut lawn.
Systematic cutting patterns
STIGA autonomous robot lawn mowers have 4 to 6 pivoting carbon steel razor-sharp blades, spinning at up to 2850 rpm, ensuring high cutting performance. The sharpness and material compound of the blades ensure a clean cut, allowing the grass to seal and heal naturally. STIGA autonomous robot mowers further optimise the battery usage as they work in systematic cutting patterns, meaning they do not cut randomly, and the multiple direction change programmes ensure there is no chance of over-mowing. You can easily combine preferred cutting patterns - choosing between different directions - through the STIGA.GO App.

STIGA autonomous robot mowers are equipped with 4G technology, which is more reliable than traditional radio waves. This allows a constant connection between the robot and its reference station, which strengthens the reliability of the GPS RTK technology.
The technology of the robot is based on data communication between the STIGA Cloud and the robot itself. No matter what your garden looks like the signal will always be stable and reliable for STIGA autonomous robot mowers.
